BULLETIN BOARDS
After a whole school roll-out on resiliency, I created this bulletin board for a reminder to students that they have a choice...they can BOUNCE or they can SPLAT!
I used a combination of resources found here and here.
The background is randomly cut pieces of construction paper.
It took about 3-4 hours to create over a week of school (where I came in during the evening to minimize time spent on this while students were at school).
At Christmas, I thought it would be a great idea for students to think about all the things they are grateful for that don't cost money.
I hand drew ornament shapes for each student to complete, I cut the base of the tree out of construction paper, and I used green tablecloth to create the shape of the tree.
Winter sometimes brings out the winter blues. I stumbled upon this idea browsing the internet and thought it would make students (and staff) giggle. The small bits of white paper are different coping skills I frequently mention and remind students they have in their toolkit of skills. I cut the snowman and snowflakes out of construction paper. This one was a fun and easy one to do!
